We have been trying to catch up – its been so busy there has been little time to finish one thing before starting the next. So we created a short sampler of a few of our most recent concerts just to “get it out there”. Hopefully more will follow.

The Schoen Duo will be performing in the Faith and Life Centre Chapel at the Augustana Faculty of U. of A. in Camrose on Wednesday, October 22 at 7:30 P.M. The concert will feature music from their recent CD release, Profile.  It will also include music of C.P.E. Bach in celebration of his 300 anniversary.

We were involved in organizing a group play-in event to celebrate the birthday of Dr. Shinichi Suzuki. The Society for Talent Education  and the Edmonton Suzuki Flute & Recorder Society played together on the same event for the first time – hopefully the first of many more such collaborations!

Symphony Towers Open House

We played for an Open House at the Symphony Towers sales centre today. Its an interesting project – all the apartments are named after composers: Chopin, Puccini, Mozart, Beethoven, Wagner, Handel, etc. We speculated about how the personality types of the composers matched the various floor plans.
